As soon as we got the NED (No Evidence of Disease), we hopped on a plane to Ft. Lauderdale, where we spent quality time with friends and family.
Two days after returning home from Florida, I ventured out east with a couple of my girls—first girls’ trip in a looong time!
On Monday, we celebrated survival and major accomplishments in the realm of ovarian cancer research with Tina’s Wish. Amazingly, scientists are closer than ever to the ultimate way to treat and cure this disease, early detection!
Last night, we celebrated and supported the outstanding efforts of Gilda’s Club NYC by attending this year’s Gildie Awards—we even won a bid on a really cool silent auction item, including Apple TV! (side note: these peeps know how to throw a party.)
Tonight, we head to Richmond, Virginia to applaud my remarkable niece, Nicole, who is graduating high school already. Unbelievable how time flies!
We’ve been, well, livin’ non-stop since beating cancer and I’m grateful to be able to take a few moments to put this post together in appreciation of all of you who continue to cheer for me along this journey.
Wishing you a weekend full of life, love, and lots of fun moments!
